Jackie Shroff replaces Anupam Kher in ‘Jazbaa’

Anupam Kher, who was highly praised for a theatre play ‘Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha’ has reportedly walked out of Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Jazbaa’. As per the new reports, the veteran actor has been replaced by Jackie Shroff. Because of reshuffling of dates, Anupam opted out of the film.

Nitin Keni, the co-producer of the film, said that the actress opted out because they couldn’t match the availability of dates with each other. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Anupam Kher said, “We were not able to match up with each other’s’ availability of dates. But, I am hopeful of working with Sanjay Gupta in the near future”.

This Sanjay Gupta’s directorial is a comeback film of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who will play a lawyer in the flick. Besides, Aishwarya, the film also stars Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi, Abhimanyu Singh, Atul Kulkarni and Chandan Roy Sanyal. Cinematographed by Sameer Arya, the movie is written by Kamlesh Pandey and Robin Bhatt.
