Jacqueline Fernandez Replaces Parineeti Chopra in Salman Khan’s Jugalbandi

As per the latest reports, Jacqueline Fernandez has been finalized to play the lead role in Salman Khan’s third production film Jugalbandi. The Roy actress will be starring opposite Saif Ali Khan. Reportedly, Parineeti Chopra was considered for the role earlier, but seems like the Bajrangi Bhaijaan has kept his promise and given Jacqueline another film.

A source told DNA, “Salman felt Jacqueline fit the bill perfectly and asked her to come on board”. Interestingly, this happened right after Baba Siddique’s party where both the Kick stars dined together. Another source close to the actress told the agency, “Jackie is very fond of Salman and she can’t say no to him. Plus, she has liked the script. So she will be doing the film. Currently, she has asked her team to work out the dates for the film”.

It seems that the Kill Dill actress has lost another project. “Pari had only been in talks for Jugalbandi with Saif Ali Khan. Now with this also landing in Jacqueline’s lap, Parineeti has no films in hand, except Sultan maybe for which her mentor Aditya Chopra is rooting for his protegee”, said the source. Also, it was said that Salman wants Kriti Sanon in Sultan, in place of Parineeti. However, nothing is official, as of now about Sultan.
