Jaya Bachchan Cried When Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha Romanced?

It has always been an implicit reality in the Hindi film cinema that Bollywood’s biggest star Amitabh Bachchan and the everlasting beauty, Rekha, were in deep love. With the launch of ‘Rekha: The Untold Story’, the actress’ unofficial biography by Yasser Usman, more shocking incidents are bound to be revealed in the coming days. Moreover, this love legend isn’t one to conclude anytime soon.

It has been reported that during the shoots of Prakash Mehra’s ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikander’, tears rolled down Jaya’s face during Rekha’s love scene with Amitabh. In an interview with Stardust, Rekha was quoted saying, “Jaya was sitting in the front row and he (Amitabh) and his parents were in the row behind her. They couldn’t see her as clearly as I could. And during our love scenes, I could see tears pouring down her face. A week later (after the trial show of Muqaddar Ka Sikandar), everybody in the industry was telling me that he has made it clear to his producers that he was not going to work with me.”

She moreover revealed that, “Everybody else informed me about it but he didn’t say a word on the subject. When I tried to question him about it, he said, ‘I am not going to say a word. Don’t ask me about it’.”
