Jiah Khan’s death shocks the showbiz world; boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi under questioning

The bold and beautiful Jiah Khan, earlier named Nafisa Khan, ended her own life by hanging at her own Juhu apartment last night. With films like Nishabd, Ghajini and Housefull, we will always remember the short-lived actress of Bollywood, Jiah Khan. Bollywood is mourning the loss through its shower of tweets.

Farah Khan tweeted, "CAN'T register that jiah is no more...worked with her in Housefull n she was so beautiful n such a good soul.2 young 2 go jiah." Riteish Deshmukh’s response was, "Nothing worse than waking up to bad news- shocked n dumb struck- RIP Jiah." Shahid Kapoor echoed, "Shocked n saddened to hear about jiah khan ... Very disturbing ... RIP ....may her soul rest in peace." As per Anupam Kher, "Jiah Khan was full of life when I worked with her long time back. So sad that something drove her to take this extreme step.RIP" Sonam Kapoor lamented, "Nobody should be in so much pain and a state of such hopelessness. I hope her soul finds some respite in death." Tollywood personalities like Shruti Haasan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu also joined the mourning. While Shruti tweeted, “RIP jiah khan- so sad to hear this news this morning may she find her happiness somewhere”, Samantha wondered, “Jiah khan.....can't imagine what pushed u to the edge..RIP..”

As further revelations are pouring in, the director of Bollywood Ram Gopal Varma who gave the huge break to the deceased actress with Nishabd in 2007, revealed Jiah had been going through depression and she was quite anxious about her future as she had not found a single role in the past three years. Varma posted, "The last time I met her, Jiah told me that everyone around her makes her feel like a failure.” He added further very sadly, "Just can't believe that someone as young and so full of life is just dead. No matter what her problem was, I just so wish she applied her on screen philosophy ofNishabdto her own life which is to 'Take Lite'." Meanwhile, as the investigation is on, the reason behind her suicide is not yet confirmed. Autopsy reports will certainly make some way out. Along with her domestic help, security persons and neighbours, her boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi, Aditya Pancholi's son is also being questioned by the Mumbai police in relation to the unfortunate incident.
