John Abraham Seeks Real Action Talent

Actor-producer John Abraham is on the brink of rolling out an altogether new level of action in Bollywood with his upcoming flick Rocky Handsome. The Dostana star has contributed a number of commendable action sequences to Indian cinema but feels dissatisfied when it comes to real action heroes in the country. Admired for his extremely desirable physique, the dimpled-smile celebrity claims being inspired by praiseworthy Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone.

The Desi Boyz actor believes that the country is missing real action heroes of the calibre of Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Dwayne Johnson. During an event, the fitness freak stated, “We really wanted to take action to the next level. What the country was missing was real action heroes... If you see internationally, the best action heroes are Stallone, Bruce Willis, Schwarzenegger, Dwayne Johnson The Rock”. John further added, “It's not as much about the action, but it is about the attitude, and that's what we tried to maintain in the film”.

The Welcome Back star has left no stone unturned to achieve an enviable physique for his forthcoming action thriller film directed by Nishikant Kamat. Revealing about his hard work, John said, “I went off to Thailand for a little less than a month to train, especially the knife action that you see. Even if the knives are blunt, they really hurt. I remember when I was going for a shower in the evening, I used to remember the action in the day, because the whole body was black and blue during training”.
