John Day: First trailer out featuring Naseeruddin Shah and Randeep Hooda

Director Ahishor Solomon's thriller film John Day is finally out with its first official trailer. The Naseeruddin Shah-Randeep Hooda starrer has been produced by Anjum Rizvi, the producer behind A Wednesday, along with Aatef A. Khan and K. Asif.

The trailer sets off with a creepy funeral scene of an individual who has died under puzzling situations. Naseerudin Shah, who also appeared in A Wednesday, seems to be the investigator in the mysterious case. As the trailer reveals more, a worn out Naseerudin is seen damaging a car while Randeep holds a gun pointed at him. The trailer unveils more showing Naseerudin hiding a gun in a cut-out of a book which looks like a Bible. A few chasing and fighting scenes are followed by Randeep's concluding dialogue, “Duniya ka sabse katarnak janvar, insaan hota hai.” John Day, slated to hit the screens on September 13, also stars Shernaz Patel, Sharat Saxena, Vipin Sharma and Prague actress Elena Kazan.
