Juhi Chawla: Gulaab Gang might be her last movie with Madhuri Dixit

Film actress and producer Juhi Chawla has maintained a constant link with Bollywood industry and her ongoing project with Madhuri Dixit ‘Gulaab Gang’ would be a memorable one for her. Juhi talks about the same during screening of a Bengali movie ‘Jatishwar’, saying that this might be her last chance to work with Madhuri, "I think this ('Gulaab Gang') was the last chance I got to work with her (Madhuri Dixit) and I don't think we will again get a chance to work together in future."

It’s not like Juhi didn’t get an option to work with Madhuri in her prime time but she turned down the offer as they were competitors, "There were times when I had a chance to work with Madhuri, but at that time we were rivals and I was like, 'I will not work with Madhuri at all'." Juhi also mentioned the script as powerful and she expressed her excitement saying, "It happens once in a lifetime when we get such a good script and where we can work together with such dedication. So, I don't imagine that we will again be working (together). That's why the film is exciting for us as actors."
She further continued that she is waiting for the promotions to start so that she can talk about the film. It was a great experience for her to work on a project like this. The upcoming Indian drama is a directorial debut by Soumik Sen, while Anubhav Sinha, Alumbra Entertainment and Abhinay Deo are producing it. Juhi also has one more project lined up after this and that will be her debut in Hollywood. The actress is roped in to star in Lasse Hallstrom’s directorial entitled The Hundred-Foot Journey.
