Kabir Khan And Siddharth Anand To Direct Indo-China Film

Indian filmmakers Kabir Khan and Siddharth Anand have been approached to direct two Indo-China movies that are expected to release next year. Kabir will helm ‘The Zookeeper', while Siddharth will direct 'Love in Beijing'. Trinity Pictures, the film production arm of India's distribution giant Eros International will collaborate with China's Peacock Mountain Culture and Media and state- owned Huaxia Film Distribution to produce both the films.

‘The Zookeeper' is a human drama which narrates the journey of a zoo keeper of Indian origin who goes all the way to China to find a panda so that he can bring the animal to India to save his zoo. A leading Indian star and a top Chinese actress have been signed to star in the film. Some portion of the film will be shot in Chengdu.

'Love in Beijing' is a cross-cultural romantic comedy about an Indian girl who falls in love with a Chiense man.  A leading Indian actress has been roped in to star opposite a leading Chinese actor. Creative teams from both the production companies worked on the scripts in order to create stories that would be a mixture of Sino-Indian culture.
