    Bollywood’s powerful performer Vidya Balan’s critically-acclaimed filmKahaanihas added another feather to its cap. The Sujoy Ghosh directorial venture won the best film’s award at a recently held international film festival in Fiji. A statement released by the Indian High Commission at Fiji informed that the film won the award at the two-week long film festival organised by Fiji National University and Film along with the Indian High Commission in Labasa.

    The statement said, the festival opened with the screening ofKahaani, whereas about 125 films were screened in Suva and other cities from October 5 to 18 during the festival out of the over 250 entries that were received by the organisers. Besides the suspense-thriller, director Rajkumar Hirani received best director's award for3 Idiots, Girish Kasarawalli’s filmKumavatarawas given special jury best film award and the best documentary film’s honour was given toUrban Oxby AK Bir.
