Kai Po Che, a film in question
Recently releasedKai Po Checame under the scanner after the eruption of rumours that it is spreading negative information about the Gujarat’s Chief Minister Narendra Modi. It’s been reported that some people have been questioning the flickfor portraying the 2002-Godhra riots by describing it as the lone decision of the one Hindu leader who took the call rather than sitting idle.
The filmmaker is so disappointed with an ongoing issue and tweeted, “Strange how some people are seeingKai Po Cheas Modi propaganda. They are obviously missing the point and looking for something that it's not. It is about the innocence of youth and their coming of age... not a witch hunt... accepts it for what it is... and you might see the light.”
The movie is basically an inspiration from the Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller The 3 Mistakes of My Life, which tells the story of three friends living in Ahmedabad.
