Kajol Will Continue As Prasar Bharti Board Member

If latest reports are anything to go by, actress Kajol has managed to secure her place in the Prasar Bharati board as its part-time member. It was rumoured that she might lose her Prasar Bharati job due to her absence from the meetings of the public broadcaster. Many members of the board demanded to sack her after this.

Seems like, she has secured her job due to her proximity with Bharatiya Janata Party. Kajol failed to attend last four meetings of the board which made her liable for removal from the position. On her absence from the four consecutive meetings, Kajol said that she missed the meetings “due to prior professional commitments and also due to a family emergency on medical grounds through most of this year”.

The board has now granted her leave of absence and the actress can now continue with her job. She will now be present in the next meeting of the Prasar Bharati Board. On the work front, the actress will be next seen in Tamil flick, Velaiilla Pattadhari 2, which is a sequel to the 2014 Tamil-language film Velaiilla Pattadhari.
