It’s a well-known fact that a film celebrity is required to be present in constant public glare but the same concept irks Queen actress Kangana Ranaut a lot. This kind of annoyance also leads her doubting own capability of gaining this status of stardom.
Kangana said, “The worst thing of being an actor is that you are constantly in limelight. There are times when I feel like being left alone. I was 17 when I started working and I don’t remember living on my own. I don’t know if I deserve this stardom.” The 26-year-old Himachal Pradesh-born lady debuted in 2006 with Gangster. Later she appeared in numerous blockbusters like Fashion, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Tanu Weds Manu, Krrish 3 and many others.

She also went for her education in filmmaking in New York and had a great time over there. As told by the actress, “It was a unique experience to go back to school. I enjoyed sitting in the classroom, attending lectures, doing homework. I never had any formal education in acting. I understand the techniques of filmmaking but I wanted to understand it better.” She also enjoyed the fact she was an anonymous person while studying abroad. “It was a refreshing change to be anonymous and be myself. While I was studying in New York, I was cooking for myself, doing my laundry, travelling by subways. I found it relaxing and really enjoyed staying alone,” she said. She had to leave her education in order to promote Queen which has hit the theatres today. She will be going back to complete her course in June. When asked if she would like to write a screenplay she said, “I don’t know if I want to write a script. I would love to write and direct but I don’t know when that will happen.”
