Kangana Ranaut: I am Glad That Salman Offered Me Katti Batti

One of the top actresses of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut, says that Salman Khan is her dear friend. The Tanu Weds Manu Returns fame, who will be next seen in Katti Batti alongside Imran Khan, revealed that it was the Bajrangi Bhaijaan, who asked her to read the script of the film. The Nikhil Advani directorial is scheduled to hit the screens on September 18.

“Salman called me to tell me about the script and I am glad that he did that. I was in New York then and after Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns I was flooded with women-centric scripts and that became my priority. So under normal circumstances I wouldn’t have given anything else much of a thought”.

The Queen added, “Salman told me that I had to do this film. He is a friend and I trust him. So, when he asked me to hear the script, I agreed. And I absolutely loved the script and ended doing the film”.
