Kangana Ranaut Pens Down Script For Simran

We all know how talented Kangana Ranaut is. The beautiful actress impressed everyone with her acting skills in movies like Queen and Tanu Weds Manu returns, which even won her a National Award. But now it seems that the actress is not satisfied with her success. She wants to accomplish more.

The actress does not only want to show off her skills in front of the camera but also off the camera. She has turned into a scriptwriter with Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film Simran, in which she will be seen playing the titular role. The movie is inspired by a real life incident. Kangana will essay the role of an NRI nurse named Sandeep Kaur who is based in the US. She was arrested and sent to prison last year for robbing a bank to clear all her gambling debts.

Speaking about Ranaut, Mehta who has directed the flick said, "Kangana is an incredible talent and I'm happy that she with her collaboration has helped make Simran a fun family film. I've been very impressed with her since Queen and even more so because she collaborated on the script of that lovely film. I'm thankful that after Queen we have a similar collaboration in our film."

The 30-year-old even penned few scenes for Queen but this will be the first time the actress will be officially credited as co-script writer along with script-writer Apurva Asrani. We got to know that the Gangster actress loved her character so much that she decided to help Apurva. Simran which is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shailesh Singh will release on September 15, 2017.
