Kangana Ranaut To Speak At ‘Women In The World’ In UK

In no time Kangana Ranaut has established herself as the Queen of Bollywood and the actress is now all set to make a mark across the world. She recently attended the Paris Fashion Week, looking no less than the royalty and grabbing herself a seat in the front row. Now, the Tanu Weds Manu actress will be sharing her inspiring story at the prestigious ‘Women In The World’ summit, which is scheduled to take place on October 9 in UK.

‘Women In The World’ summit is considered to be world’s most powerful women’s summit, which takes place once in a year. The summit presents the vibrant voices and personal stories in order to illuminate the challenges that women face around the world. Many celebrities such as Hillary Clinton and Angelina Jolie have been a part of ‘Women In The World’ but Kangana is the first from Bollywood to be a part of the of the summit. Kangana will be sharing space with celebs such as Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan and Queen Rania of Jordan.

It is said that the organisers felt that the Revolver Rani star is a standing example of young India and hence chose her as one of the speakers in the summit. She would be talking about the portrayal of artificial and unrealistic image of women on the big screen. The Bollywood actress will further elaborate on how she managed to resist the pressure and became the new role model from the entertainment industry.
