Kangna likens her Shootout at Wadala role to Smita Patil, Rekha of 1970s

Mumbai -- The National Award winning actress Kangna Ranaut says, her role in Shootout at Wadala is similar to the characters played by Smita Patil and Rekha in the 1970s and 1980s. Kangna, post the six-year old stint at Bollywood, opined at a party that now she plays John Abraham's love interest in the underworld movie and is in awe of her character. The movie includes Sonu Nigam, Tusshar Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, Ronit Roy & Mahesh Majrekar and is directed by Sanjay Gupta and co-produced by Balaji TeleFilms.The 24-year-old actress says shes glad to have got the opportunity to work opposite John Abraham, who plays a gangster in the film. "John is a fabulous guy. He is very friendly, very sweet and I am surprised that we have not worked together yet. Now that we have got this opportunity, we are very happy," she reiterated.
