Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Will Always Remain Special: Karan Johar

Filmmaker Karan Johar ’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was released in midst of some ruckus when Indian political party, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) proclaimed that they would not allow the release of the film, following nationwide protests surrounding the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on 18 September 2016. Karan Johar’s film featured Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Karan had a hard time releasing the film.  

RecentlyKaran had issued a video, where he revealed that the circumstance during the shooting of the film was completely different from that of the time of the release. The filmmaker said that tyhe project will always remain special to his heart. On Sunday, the film has completed one year of its release and the director opened up about it.

Karan tweeted, “It’s been one year of ADHM. This film will always remain extremely special to my heart. Anushka Sharma , Ranbir, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. A special thank you to Pritam, Amitabh (Bhattacharya) for creating such a memorable music album for us at Dharma Movies”. The film  was released on October28 in 2016.
