Karan Johar Becomes Father To Twins!

Director-producer Karan Johar has become a father with twins through surrogacy in February. The news was confirmed by civic officials to a leading daily. Karan is now the second B-town single father after Tusshar Kapoor.

Karan has been ready to become a father for quite some time now as he says, and now that it has finally happened, he is “ecstatic”. The new dad just released his official statement that reads, “I am ecstatic to share with you all the two most wonderful additions to my life, my children and lifelines Yash and Roohi”.

According to reports, his twins, a boy and a girl, were born in Masrani Hospital (Andheri). BMC health executive Dr. Padmaja Keskar spoke with the daily and said, “The birth registrations were done on Friday”. The officials have also revealed that while Karan’s name was present in the birth registration details as the father, it is yet unknown who the mother was.

Karan has named his baby boy, Yash, after his father, and baby girl, Roohi. His daughter's name has been derived from rearranging the alphabets of his mother’s name. Congratulations to the new father!

On the work front, Karan’s last project was ‘Ok Jaanu’ where he served as a producer. His production house, Dharma Productions, will also release their next project titled ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ on March 10. The movie stars Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.
