Karan Johar is Desperately Waiting for Acting Offers

After Bombay Velvet, Karan Johar has earned lots of appreciation for himself. His acting has left an impression on the audiences that even after the film flopped, he is still applauded for his performance in the film. A similar incident took place at the promotions of Baahubali in Mumbai. Soon, the conversation shifted from the film, which is touted to be the biggest mythological film ever, to the producers’ acting skills.

When the actor was asked if he would take up acting further, he said, “I should be offered more work. I have been waiting for that phone to ring; but I don't have, not one offer. Please if you liked my film give me a call. At least give me a chance to refuse”.

Further when the reporters asked the producer-director on why he doesn’t cast himself, Karan said, “I can't cast my own self I am not that stupid also”. Like all other directors, Karan also wants to focus on filmmaking rather than acting. He has clarified earlier, that he did the role only for Anurag Kashyap. On the other hand, Anurag Kashyap will be seen acting in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming project Akira.
