IN PICS: Karan Johar Posts Adorable Pic Of His Twins

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who became a father of twins Roohi and Yash through surrogacy in February this year, posted an adorable picture of the babies on Twitter on Monday.

The picture shows Roohi and Yash with his mother Hiroo. He captioned it, “Loves of my life!!!! My mom and my babies.”

Karan named his son Yash (on his father Yash Johar), while the daughter’s name Roohi is the rearrangement of his mother’s name, Hiroo.

The babies were born at Masrani Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, in February this year.

In his biography, An Unsuitable Boy, Karan had written about his desire to become a father either through adoption or through surrogacy.

The filmmaker also wrote on parenting in Vogue magazine last week. “I am learning to rely more on my instincts and I’m learning to accept the fears, apprehensions, and insecurities that come with being a dad. I’ve already started imagining things like your first day at school, your first words and even your first acknowledgment of me. To tell you the truth, every single day I whisper ‘papa, papa, papa’ into your ears because I’m petrified that your first words will be in Malayalam (all our four nurses are from Kerala)!” he wrote in the magazine.
