Karan Johar reveals about ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’

While he has mostly avoided talking anything about his next directorial, filmmaker Karan Johar has now expressed about what ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ made him feel. According to Karan, it was a story that came to him from within.

"It's a film that dwells deeply on relationships, heartbreaks and how love completes you, defines you and yet leaves you wanting for more. I have never had, in my entire career, a film that has come to me so fast, so organically and so from within,” he said. Karan who has in the past written and directed films on love and relationships like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Kal Ho Naa Ho, now tries his hand on the genre after a long time.

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles. While Saif Ali Khan was also in news to have signed the film, nothing seems to have got clear really. Interestingly there are rumours about Fawad Khan coming opposite Aishwarya Rai in the film. This would be one interesting couple if the project formulates in this shape.
