Kareena Kapoor Khan Finally Breaks Her Silence On Trolls Regarding Her Son, Taimur's Name!

Kareena Kapoor Khan maternity period was the most talked about topic last year as she rocked her pregnancy look and carried herself gracefully. She became mother of a baby boy on December 20 last year and her son became a star on social media ever since Saif Ali Khan announced the name of his first born with Kareena. The name, Taimur Ali Khan, didn’t go down well with many people and they fired back at the celebrity couple for naming son after Mongol conqueror Timur who killed thousands within his wake.

Now, talking to a leading daily, Kareena opened up about it. She said, "It was bizarre. I have no idea why people took my baby's name so personally. But we love the name and let me put it this way — it has no resemblance to any person living or dead. We love the meaning (Taimur means iron in Arabic) and I am happy that [some] people came out in support of us so strongly. That support matters more than anything bad that was said or written”.

On the work front, the actress will resume shooting for Rhea Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding alongside Sonam Kapoor. Bebo recently walked the ramp for Anita Dongre at the closing ceremony of Lakme Fashion Week 2017. Saif later cleared this that the name Taimur means Iron in Arabic.
