Kareena Kapoor to play Ranveer Singh’s sibling in Zoya Akhtar’s next?

Bollywood superstars like Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor have already been on the board for Zoya Akhtar’s next multi-starrer project. It was heard that Ranbir Kapoor will also join the cast as Kareena’s on-screen sibling, for the first time. But as the latest buzz is on, Ranbir Kapoor has been ruled out from the scene to be replaced by Ranveer Singh.

The characters of the siblings will be based on the lives of real life-siblings Zoya and Farhan Akhtar and the former one would take no chance to wait for Ranbir for an indefinite time. Hence it has been heard that Ranveer has been taken into consideration for the role recently and the actor is also quite excited to work in the project. The source stated, "Ranveer missed out on working with Kareena in Ram Leela. This time he wants to make it work. Even if it means he does not get to play the romantic lead.” Though, no further confirmation has arrived from Zoya’s end on the latest reports.
