Kartik Aaryan’s Role In ‘Silvat’: Muslim Boy Falls For Old Woman

Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame Kartik Aaryan will be next seen in Tanuja Chandra’s ‘Silvat’. The actor is playing the role of a Muslim boy who falls in love with an older woman. While talking to IANS, director Tanuja was all praises for the young star.

Tanuja Chandra was quoted as saying, “Kartik is a wonderful actor, perhaps better than he realises himself! Beyond his boisterous persona, I felt there was the possibility of a gentleness in him, a stillness within that could be explored. My mantra to him during shoot was - 'Don't act! Feel”.

“And indeed, he was able to bring a real sweetness as well as heartbreak to this role of a young man in a tragic love story”, she added. Kartik’s character ‘Anwar’ reportedly faces problems in communicating his feelings. Meanwhile rumours are also abuzz that Kartik has been roped in to endorse a deodorant brand.
