Katrina Kaif is hitting the headlines these days. She debuted on Instagram the previous month and received a warm welcome from almost all the people of B-town. Then her next movie, Tiger Zinda hai, in which she is paired opposite Salman Khan made waves. She was also currently in news for speaking up against those who blamed her for delay in release of Jagga Jasoos.

And now we have heard that the actress will be seen in Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan. Rumours are rife that her ex-beau Salman recommended her name to Aamir for the movie. "Nobody was surprised when Fatima Sana Shaikh was signed opposite Aamir Khan in Thugs Of Hindostan. While a few top actresses including Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and even Vaani Kapoor were in talks to do the film, most of them, save Vaani, weren’t so keen once they heard the fee for the film, especially when Aamir was being given his market price and more. The actresses had loved the script as it revolved around the female protagonist taking revenge but the talks fizzled out when they realised that Aditya Chopra wanted them to sign the film almost for free. There was a discussion whether Vaani or Fatima suited the role better — the latter was Aamir’s choice and the former Adi’s. Eventually, Aamir had his way," revealed a source.

Recently people spoke weird about Thugs Of Hindostan’s jodi Fatima Sana Shaikh and Aamir given that the actress earlier played the superstar’s daughter in Dangal and now will play his love interest.
