Khiladi Akshay to become Gabbar with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next

BollywoodkhiladiAkshay Kumar’s rowdy performance was not yet washed off from the minds of the audiences and the actor has come up with yet another flick. Thekhiladihas always accepted new challenging roles and this time he is going to revive Ramana of Tamil blockbuster with same nameRamana.

Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is a remake ofRamanaand is typically based on fight against corruption. The45-year-old will be seen in amale lead and the female lead opposite Akshay is not yet decided. Krish, a south director of the venture says, “We will be remaking ‘Ramana’. It`s a beautiful film and I believe such cinema should reach our Hindi film-watching audience as well. We look to do justice to the subject and treatment and are extremely excited about the project.”

The film has acquired the copyrights from the original film and will start its shooting after Bhansali takes time out from her directorial projectRam Leela.
