Kick 2 on cards?

Salman-starrer action-thriller film Kick did extremely well at the box-office. Also featuring Jacqueline Fernandez and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles, the film made a final worldwide gross collection of Rs. 3.55 billion. Bollywood grapevine is abuzz that after seeing its overwhelming response, the makers are now planning to make its sequel.

If reports are to be believed, actor Salman Khan who also turned a singer for this film will try his hand in scriptwriting for the second instalment. However, when approached Jacqueline, she said that she was unaware of the sequel. "I don't know anything (about Salman writing 'Kick' sequel).... I don't know if it ('Kick' sequel) has been conceptualized or not, or if there is a script for 'Kick' sequel," said Jacky.

Written by Rajat Arora and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, Kick is a Hindi remake of Telugu film with the same name. The film starring Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz hit the screens on May 8, 2009.
