Konkona Sen Sharma back with a bang in Ek Thi Daayan

Big news for Konkona fans as theWake Up Sidactress is all set to make her comeback on silver screen with her next filmEk Thi Daayan,cast opposite Emraan Hashmi.Based on Konkona’s columnist father Mukul Sharma’s book, the supernatural thriller is all about witchcraft practiced frequently in Bengal.

Konkona, being a Bengali girl, is supposed to get into the skin of the character perfectly, as she is well aware of the witchcraft practices in her homeland. Director Kannan Iyer was positive from the beginning that Konkana being an excellent artist, would do full justice to her character as the previous knowledge of the inner world of witchcraft would definitely help her perform well.ProducerVishal Bhardwaj was also confident that none other than Konkana could be a better choice for the role.
