Kriti Sanon Paired Opposite Diljit Dosanjh In Arjun Patiala

The year 2017 can be a year of mixed feelings for Kriti Sanon as far as her films are concerned. Two of her films released this year, Raabta and Bareilly Ki Barfi. While Raabta released with average reviews, Bareilly Ki Barfi opened with positive reviews and got critically acclaimed too.

Well, if reports are to be believed, the actress has been signed opposite Diljit Dosanjh for her next. Titled Arjun Patiala, the film will be bankrolled by the Raabta producer Dinesh Vijans. As per a source, “Kriti plays a journalist while Diljit in the lead role is a quirky, small-town guy. It’s a character-driven comedy and will roll in February 2018. It will be shot in Punjab The makers are leaving for a recee soon and hopes to zero in on a director shortly”.

Even the actress confirmed the news on her social media. She shared a picture of the two and captioned it, “This one’s gonna be a mad fun ride!#ArjunPatiala ..Larger than Life! Can't wait to start rolling! @diljitdosanjh #dineshvijan @MaddockFilms”. Well, this is an unusual pairing but we hope the two are able to bring out the best of them in this flick.
