Krrish 3 sets a new benchmark, becomes the highest grosser

Hrithik Roshan has made it again. Well, the actor’s latest release Krrish 3 has bagged a total ofRs. 231 crorefrom domestic market and has become the highest grossing film till date. With this, it has sidelined all the top listed films including Shah Rukh Khan’sChennai Expressand Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiot.

The maximum grosser’s record was first broken by 3 idiots, which did a business of totalRs. 202 crore.But later this year,3 Idiots’s record also broke whenChennai Expresscame on-screen. The movie did a commendable business ofRs. 227 croreand became the first to bag this whopping amount. However, Shah Rukh’s delight was short lived as Krrish 3 soon entered the competition and lagged behind all the previous records. The venture created a much higher scale by bagging Rs. 231 crore and hit the top position at the Box Office records.

Krrish 3 entered the 100 crore club in just 4 days and also became the first flick to collect Rs. 35.91 crore in just one day. The movie directed, produced and co-provided screenplay by Rakesh Roshan is the third instalment inKrrish series. The film starsVivek Oberoi,Priyanka ChopraandKangna Ranautalong with Hrithik.
