Kunal Kapoor's Play Touring U.S., Canada, Pak

U.S., Canada and Pakistan will soon welcome Kunal Kapoor with his play Ek Punjab Yeh Bhi. Kunal, who is known for his role in Rang de Basanti, is very happy for the opportunity he has got. The show has been inspired by Ali Akbar Natiq’s Urdu short stories.

According to Kunal, "We put a lot of passion and hard work into this, and I'm really happy with how people have reacted to it. We have had number of offers to tour other cities and countries and I am really looking forward to that". The play was well appreciated by the Indian audience at the Prithvi Theatre Festival earlier in December.

The crew will begin their tour next year in April or May. Kunal's next project will be an action film. The actor revealed in the beginning of December, "I will start shooting for a film soon in a month’s time. It’s an action film which is exciting for me as I have never done action. It’s not a multi-starrer and we will be shooting down south".
