Legal Notice To Akshay Kumar Starrer ‘Jolly LLB 2'

Recently, the trailer of Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming film ‘Jolly LLB 2’ released. It was high on the entertainment quotient, but it hasn’t pleased everyone. A popular shoe brand has sent a legal notice to the team of the film for defamation and commercial disparagement. According to the company, a dialogue in the film’s trailer had insulted them for their poor shoes quality.

The notice by the company has detailed that the dialogue in trailer is a deliberate attempt to damage the image of the brand. Moreover, the film has Akshay Kumar in the lead, who is the face of the rival shoe brand. This has perhaps vexed the company and has landed ‘Jolly LLB 2' in legal soup. It is further demanded in the notice that film’s team should pull down the trailer of the film from the internet and must make the required changes.

Further, it is wanted that the film should show a message in the trailer and the film stating that the brand was mentioned erroneously. ‘Jolly LLB 2' is a courtroom comedy drama film, written and directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film is scheduled to release on February 10, 2017.
