Lisa Haydon posts breastfeeding pic with son, shares important message

Lisa Haydon shared a beautiful picture on Instagram where she can be seen breastfeeding her son. The actor advocated the need to breastfeed the newborns in the post.

“I’ve gotten loads of posts asking about life after having my son... esp to do with weight and fitness. Seeing as it’s World Breastfeeding Week- time to give some credit where credit is due,” she captioned the photo. World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated from August 1 to 7.

Contrary to popular belief that breastfeeding babies causes the body to lose its shape, Lisa wrote that it actually helped her. “Breastfeeding has played such a big part in getting back into shape after giving birth to my baby,” she wrote.

“Breastfeeding has been challenging+time consuming (literally hours spent everyday trying to stimulate milk supply) but it’s such a beautiful way to bond and connect with your child plus all the nutritional benefits that your child gets from your milk. Look out for my blog post on mycityforkids.com on breastfeeding. Happy #worldbreastfeedingweek,” she added.

Lisa, who has had a successful modelling stint and has featured in films like Aisha, Housefull 3 and Queen, married Dino Lalvani, son of Pakistan-born British entrepreneur Gullu Lalvani, in October 2016 after the two dated for a year. Her son, Zack, was born on May 17, 2017.

Just days after delivering her baby, Lisa made an appearance at the Paris Fashion Week showcasing her svelte figure in a red designer dress with a plunging neckline.
