Irrfan Khan's eagerly awaited film 'Madaari' has been postponed one week and will now be releasing on July 22. It has swapped release dates with 'Great Grand Masti' which was earlier supposed to release on July 22. Now, the Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani starrer will be released on Madaari's initial release date of July 15.

The producer of 'Madaari', Vashu Bhagnani, said, "The industry is one big family and we all operate for and with each other. Madaari will now hit theatres on July 22, while Great Grand Masti will come on July 15". The director of 'Great Grand Masti', Indra Kumar, showed his gratitude for this shift in release dates and said, "We’re touched by Vashuji’s gesture of moving his film ahead by a week on our request".

Riteish took to Twitter and shared a poster of his film with the post, "#WeAreComingSooner #GGMon 15 JULY". The movie will be a follow up to Grand Masti which came out in 2013. Irrfan's 'Madaari' is on a completely different spectrum than 'Great Grand Masti' as it is a serious and thrilling film.
