    The evergreen diva of the B-town, Madhuri Dixit, keeps us stunning with her mounting gorgeousness but her comeback films, Dedh Ishqiya and Gulaab Gang, have not proved blockbusters at the box-office. But the actress is not affected by any kind of negativity as she believes in giving her best at every opportunity without competing with the latest Bollywood trendsetters.

    The 47-year-old actress featured in a leading role in Vishal Bhardwaj's home production Dedh Ishqiya after 7 long years followed by Soumik Sen’s Gulaab Gang. Both the films had an average journey at the box-office. Madhuri told, "In these two films, both the characters were completely opposite of each other. Whatever I do, I do it with passion, give my best. Finally it is fate or whatever you call it how it (film) does. I think both the films did fairly well.. I don't think they were big disappointments.” She added further, "I don't have anything to prove to anyone at this point. I want to do good roles and be happy about it. I am not here to compete with newcomers. I am here to do my job and do it with the best of my ability.”

    When the actress was asked about her upcoming movie projects she said presently she is focussing on judging the small screen dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. The actress also shared her feelings that the film industry has changed now as she said, "Appearance today is important, audience is unforgiving but that doesn't mean acting is not important. Those who have both the qualities do very well.” The new bunch of actors in the industry sees Madhuri as their inspiration and the Saajan actress said about the same, "I feel flattered. I take such things as a compliment. It is great to know that you are looked upon as idol and people like your work." She was also asked what would be her take if she is offered to romance any young actor onscreen and she said, "I don't know. It depends on what the script is I can't say I am ok or not ok." She added, "I don't know these thoughts are far from my mind. I am busy with 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' as we are starting it now.. I am excited about it.”
