    Although actress Manisha koirala doesn’t want to be known as the face of cancer but her resilience against the disease is what that prompted filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani to cast her in Sanjay Dutt biopic, where the actress will essay the role of Sanjay’s mother actress Nargis Dutt. At one of the talk show which was recently held in Jaipur, the actress said, “I firmly believe that we can make the worst situation of our life into a narrative of triumph. As an actor, if I can take the experience of my trauma and put it in a form of performance, I would love to do that."

    She further added, "Yes, I will have to relive those painful moments. But I am an actor. It is my job and I hope I do it well." The actress went on saying that now she chooses film after carefully reading unlike older times when she did not even think twice before signing for a film.

    Moreover, the 46-year-old actress spoke about the painful times when she was undergoing treatment for cancer, her relationship with family and others. She also revealed that before she was diagnosed with the deadly disease she used to live carefree life and followed an unhealthy lifestyle. Her biopic on Sanjay Dutt, which also features actor Ranbir Kapoor is all set for a December release.
