Meenakshi Seshadri returns for Ghayal sequel

Meenakshi Seshadri will be making a return for Ghayal sequel. The 51-year-old actress, who was last seen in Margret Stephen’s documentary film Meenakshi Accept Her Wings, will be seen making a cameo appearance in Ghayal Once Again. Meenakshi was cast alongside Sunny Deol in the lead role for the original film. Ghayal also marked the directorial debut of Rajkumar Santoshi.

"The makers met Meenakshi's manager a few weeks ago and told him they were keen to sign her for the Ghayal sequel. Then, her favourite co-star, Sunny himself, got into action and convinced her to come onboard. She has given three days for the shoot", a source told Mumbai Mirror.

Meenakshi will be making her comeback to Bollywood, after a 19 year absence. "We really want Meenakshi to be a part of the film. In fact, I just had a positive, long phone call with her. But I wouldn't like to divulge any details at the moment", Sunil Saini (Producer) told Mumbai Mirror.
