Mohit Suri Confesses To Pre-Judging His Half Girlfriend Actor, Arjun Kapoor Before Meeting Him!

Director Mohit Suri recently got a chance to work with Ki & Ka actor Arjun Kapoor for his film ‘Half Girlfriend’. The movie is based on the book by Chetan Bhagat, which was re-launched on Monday with Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor on its cover. The team was present at the event where the director revealed that he had pre-judged Arjun and was skeptical about casting him as Madhav.

“I pre-judged him before I met him. I pre-judged him to be a boy who has never taken anything seriously in his life, never went and studied, but came from a big producer’s family, got launched in a big studio and has found his way to success”, Mohit stated. The director went on to say that after meeting him and getting to know him, he realized that his judgment was incorrect and that Arjun is perfectly suited to play Madhav in the film.

Mohit remembered the time when he worked in Arjun’s mother’s studio and said that she has raised Arjun with values of how to respect women. Arjun was the one who asked for a meeting with the director after he heard about the project. ‘Half Girlfriend’ has Arjun play the role of Madhav Jha while Shraddha plays the role of Riya Somani.
