‘Mom’ To Release On July 7

Sridevi’s forthcoming movie, titled ‘Mom’, is all set to release on July 7. The movie which is touted to be a thriller drama became a hot topic of discussion when the filmmakers pulled off a casting coup and roped in accomplished actors like Sridevi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. The movie is helmed by Ravi Udyawar with music scored by maestro A R Rahman.

This is the first movie of Sridevi after her remarkable performance in Gauri Shinde’s ‘English Vinglish’ which released in 2012. Soon when the poster of the movie was out, the actress’ fans all over the world were going berserk to watch the flick. The film is jointly produced by Zee studios, Sunil Manchanda, Naresh Aggarwal, Gautam Jain, Mukesh Talreja and Boney Kapoor.

The film will be Chandni actress’ 300th movie and will mark her 50 years in B-town. The movie was earlier releasing on July 14, however to avoid clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos and Shraddha Kapoor’s Haseena, the makers decided to pre-poned the release by a week. Besides, Pakistani actors Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui will also be seen in prominent roles in the film.
