Mugdha’s item song in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns exposes hidden agendas of influential people

Tigmanshu Dhulia is all set to rock the floor once again withSaheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, a sequel of 2011’sSaheb, Biwi aur Gangster. This time, the director has tried to present the hidden side of Indian royal and powerful people with an item number done byMugdha Godse, an actress and former model.

Sandeep Chowta is the composer of the song and Paroma Dasgupta has given her voice to it. The lyrics directly bring media into the picture and when asked why, the director stated that "People will not call the police, but the media to expose dubious activities. The royal family in my film has done something wrong and are celebrating, so the song." On selecting Mugdha for the item number, Tigmanshu said that "She has never done an item song and I thought it would be interesting if she did it."

Mugdha is very happy after doing this song and revealed that "The song is the flavour of the film, more so because the story is weaved into it. I loved the originalSaheb Biwi Aur Gangsterand feel thrilled to be a part of the sequel. I remember shooting in freezing cold for this song in Delhi. But all the hard work was worth the experience."

The sequel has been produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Brandsmith Motion Pictures and Moving Pictures and will be released on March 8.
