Actor Mukul Dev revealed in a series of Facebook posts on Thursday that he was made to deboard a Jet Airways flight. He was flying Amritsar when the incident took place.

Mukul, who has acted in films like War Chor Na Yaar and Son of Sardaar, said that he was made to deboard the flight due to a ‘dead’ e-cigarette found in his bag. “I was unceremoniously off loaded from a jet airways flight 5 mins before take off. There was an old dead e cigarette in my check in bag.(sic),” he wrote in the post.

He even mocked the airline staff for cracking a ‘Hindi film dialogue’ at him when he asked them to handle the situation in a more humane manner. “I told the jet airways staff that pls be humane abt it. They replied there’s no humanity in security. Hindi film dialogue. Wah! (sic),” he added.

Mukul is the younger brother of actor Rahul Dev. He began his acting career with Sushmita Sen in Dastak (1996). He was also the host of the first season of Fear Factor.
