Munna Bhai, Sallu Bhai’s first look to mark Salman Khan’s birthday

The first look of director Muazzam Beg’s Munna Bhai, Sallu Bhai will be unveiled on December 27 celebrating Dabangg cop Salman Khan’s birthday. The movie is said to be inspired by Salman and Sanjay Dutt’s lives. While Salman turns 48 on December 27, the film’s cast and crew will have a cake cutting ceremony at Bandra’s Gaiety Galaxy.

In a statement Beg said, "When we started shooting in Ajmer, people on sets would ask me if we would also celebrate Salman`s birthday. I said yes and here we are, all geared up for it,” though the superstar’s presence at the event is not yet confirmed. The director added further, "We want to celebrate the day with the actor’s die-hard fans and also take the opportunity to unveil the first look of the film.” When the film’s shooting was going on in Jaipur and Ajmer, some fans of Salman are also said to have requested the filmmaker to convey their wishes to their favourite actor on his birthday. The film stars newcomers like Shresth Kumar, Zubair Khan and Anjali Arora in lead roles and will hit the big screens in 2014.
