Music maestro A.R. Rahman turns 48 today

The Mozart of Madras, Oscar winning composer-musician-instrumentalist A.R. Rahman has turned 48 today. The ace musician has been flooded with thousands of birthday greetings from his worldwide fans since this morning.

Rahman has won two Academy Awards and two Grammy Awards for his immense contribution to the world of music, nationally and internationally. 2014 has a lot in its store for Rahman’s fans as he is looking towards one more glorious year in his musical career ahead. The upcoming Tamil films which have music by A.R. Rahman are Ai, Kochadaiyaan and Kaaviya Thalaivan. The musician secured his niche in the Indian film industry through his music composition in Mani Ratnam’s 1992-film Roja. We wish the maverick music composer A.R.
