My marriage will not affect my filmi career: Kareena Kapoor

While it is being speculated that her impending marriage with long-time beau Saif Ali Khan will affect her filmi career adversely, Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor says she will be acting even in her nineties and no one can take her place in the industry as her shoes are too big for anyone to fill in. While promoting her much-awaited film Heroine, with filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar and co-star Arjun Rampal, Kareena said, I really dont see my films affecting my marriage or my marriage affecting films. I will be like Zohra Sehgal, acting well into my nineties, so Im not going anywhere Anyway, my shoes are too big for anyone to fill in. About the confusion over her marriage date, she said, The marriage talk has become such a public circus, I have just left it to Saif to make the official announcements, as and when we decide on the date. For now, I am only focussing on my film. However the actress is looking forward to her marriage and she said, It will be a very important day in our lives and I am obviously looking forward to it. She adding We had a few dates in mind and the October date was one of them, but it was never finalised in the first place. All we were sure about is that we wanted a winter wedding. So, we are trying to work out a date when we can give undivided time to the wedding, without compromising on professional commitments. The actress also rubbished the reports that Heroine is similar to Vidya Balans National Award winning film The Dirty Picture. I am not getting into anybody's shoes. I am very comfortable in my own and I would say that no one will get into mine either". She claimed that Heroine has nothing similar to The Dirty Picture, so it will be "unfair" to compare the two. Responding on the same question, Bhandarkar said: "I liked The Dirty Picture. The film was about the rise of an item girl in the 1980s. Our film is more modern in its approach. The two films are very different and you cannot compare them." "There have been so many films based on underworld. Also so many cop films have come like Singham and Dabangg, but no one compares them. Then why are people comparing these two films," he added.
