The 64-year-old National Award-winning star Naseeruddin Shah will be seen playing a funny badman, 'Wanted bhai' in Anees Bazmee's 'Welcome Back'. The movie is a sequel to the 2007 hit 'Welcome'. Naseer has supposedly replaced the late Feroz Khan from the prequel who played don RDX in the film.

The trailer of the film was launched by the cast on July 6, marking the comeback of famous pair of Uday bhai (Nana Patekar) - Majnu bhai (Anil Kapoor). Nana told reporters, "No one can replace Feroz Khan saheb. He used to treat us like kids. If he was there he would have done that role. But Naseer sir is equally talented and of that calibre and hence he is doing this film."

Although, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, who starred in the first part of the franchise, will not reprise their roles in the sequel, the movie still includes a huge line-up starting from Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal returning with their respective roles, while John Abraham, Naseeruddin Shah, Shruti Haasan and Dimple Kapadia are among the new actors who have joined. Director of the movie, Anees Bazmee said that the film will hit theatres on September 4.
