Someone Joked About Saif Ali Khan's National Award For Hum Tum And This Is His Reply

In the past few days, social network was very active when the 64th National Film Awards was announced. The Awards was headed by prominent filmmaker Priyadarshan. What surprised the audience was the award conferred to Akshay Kumar for his performance In Rustom. Twitteratis went crazy over it and questioned the jury members’ credibility.

Well, not to forget, this was not the first time that any Bollywood actor has been embroiled in this controversy. In 2005, when Saif Ali Khan won the Best Actor National Film Award for his performance in Hum Tum, the same kind of scenario happened. When Saif was asked about the controversy in a recent interview, he said, "There has been an uproar about Akshay's win at the National Awards. Someone joked if I can get National Award for Hum Tum, it's okay for Akshay Kumar to win. A lot of people actually think I won for Omkara, not Hum Tum. I take a little offence when people joke about my National Award win".

He added, "People have been saying that I should give my award back but I don’t agree with that. If someone is unhappy with the institution and wants to return his or her award, it’s great. Maybe it was a publicity thing… I honestly don’t know". Well, on a related note, Khan is all prepped up for hi upcoming release Chef.
