Navjot Singh Sidhu Is Fine, Recovering: Confirms Kapil Sharma

Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has been critically ill with “life-threatening disease” is said to be fine now. Kapil on Twitter has confessed that he has spoken to the family of the BJP leader and they have confirmed that his health is stable and is recovering. The former cricketer was undergoing treatment for deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in Delhi’s Apollo Hospital.

Kapil tweeted, “Just spoke to Sidhu paji's family.. He is fine n recovering now.. Get well soon @sherryontopp n god bless paji :)) see u soon on set”. Sidhu is seen in every episode of Comedy Nights With Kapil. However, the cricket commentator was missing from the last episode, which featured Jazbaa stars Irrfan Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. We hope that he recovers and takes his seat back on the show soon.

Earlier, the hospital authorities had stated, “Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals Delhi today evening with acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This is a life-threatening condition if not treated on time. Mr Sidhu has been put on blood thinners and has been recovering well. His condition is said to be stable as of now”.
