    ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ Becomes Only Bollywood Film To Premiere At Cannes

    Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Masaan fame Vicky Kaushal starrer upcoming film ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ has apparently become the only Indian movie to premiere at the forthcoming Cannes Film Festival. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie is a psychological-thriller about a serial killer who used to stalk Mumbai in 1960’s, killing dozens of people. The story has been previously filmed in Tamil and has also been documented by director Sriram Raghavan of Badlapur fame.

    Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal are not new to the Cannes. While the Manjhi star has earlier attended the festival for films like Gangs of Wasseypur, The Lunchbox and Miss Lovely, Vicky has been applauded for his performance in Richa Chadda starrer Masaan. Director Anurag Kashyap also shares a history with the Cannes for films such as Gangs Of Wasseypur and Ugly.

    The first look poster of ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ has already been released. Nawaz has shocked the audiences with his red-eyed avatar in the poster. The movie is slated to release in India on June 24.
