    Nepotism Exists In The Film Industry, And I Am A Product Of It: Ranbir Kapoor

    Ranbir Kapoor is one of the few actors who have accepted that nepotism exists in the Bollywood industry. The matter started when Kangana Ranaut called Karan Johar ‘the flag-bearer of nepotism’. The Besharam actor agreed that nepotism exists and he is in fact the product of nepotism only.

    He said, “It exists in the film industry, and I am a product of nepotism. I am here today because of my parents. My father got an opportunity because of his father. So, I believe if my children choose to be actors, I would like to give them a platform”.

    He also added, “If they want to be doctors I will provide them with the education and the backing. Films have been our family business for the past 85 years. Yes, it is unfair to a lot of people who are way more talented than us, but we do get opportunities, and we do get the attention”. The 34-year-old proved that he is never afraid of speaking his mind.

    One the work front, the actor will be seen opposite Katrina Kaif in upcoming flick Jagga Jasoos, which will hit the theatres on July 14.
