Nikhil Advani’s D-Day to have Rishi Kapoor as Dawood Ibrahim

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, 60, is all set to add yet another feather in his cap of myriad role playing. He will now be seen playing a disguised Dawood Ibrahim inD-Dayto be directed by Nikhil Advani.

Initially, the plot ofD-Dayrevolved around this rare, fearless suspense story comprising two RAW agents who go to Pakistan to hunt Dawood and get him back so as to be handed over to the Indian government. Irrfan Khan & Arjun Rampal were to play the agents and Dawood had been played by one of the Pakistani actors so as to give it a global appeal. Eventually, it has Rishi who will be playing Dawood and Chandan Roy Sanyal will be cast as don’s demented nephew.

The source gave further leads by quoting, “Rishiji's character is not even named Dawood any longer. Under pressure, Nikhil Advani had to give the character a fictional name, though it would be quite obvious who he is.” Another source further stated,” This would be an even darker more sinister character than the one he played in 'Agneepath' (of villainous Rauf Lala).
